Life's a BEACH~~word album

Oh boy...going to have to make many a trip to the beach this summer.  I have done yet another beach-y type mini.  Bought this Bo Bunny BEACH album on a previous trip to Albuquerque to visit my Dad.  Love the irony of having bought a beach album in a desert.
Anyway...it was only fitting I use some Bo Bunny Sun Kissed papers to decorate it.  Just finished it up today.  I think it came out pretty awesome...if I do say so myself...and I do :)

Balloon Fiesta Mini Album

We plan on going to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta this October.  I had this super cute MME paper that was screaming to be made into a mini for this very occasion.  The collection is called Lime Twist: Out of the Blue.  Hot air balloons...clouds...bright colors...super cute!!
Anyway...made the little album to put some pictures in...now we gotta go!  LOL

Details to be added later...here it is:

Simple Stories + Paper Bag = Summer Mini

Finally found some time to get my scrap on.  I made this little paper bag mini using Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer Collection, a pieces of cardboard and some paper bags.  It came together quickly.  I used twine to bind the paper bag pages to the cardboard cover inside of stitching or binder rings like I usually do.  Once I get some photos in it, I plan on adding some more accent stickers and such.  Bring on the SUMMER!!!

I LOVE the crunchy goodness of a paper bag album.  Can't wait to fill this with photos.

LegoLand Album..scrapping with my sunglasses on...

We took a trip to LegoLand this past March.  Had a blast!  Took a ton of pictures...so this trip needed its own album.  They had this cute scrapbook kit in one of the gift shops...so I bought it.  I don't usually scrap (at least not anymore) with themed kits.  I literally have forgotten how to use bright paper with large pictures and bright stickers.  This was a huge challenge for me and almost required me to wear sunglasses.  I let the Lego kit kick my butt for a couple of days...and then I decided to just go for it.  To make it even more difficult, I opted to use an 8x8 album I already had on hand.  I had to strategically cut the 12x2 paper to stretch it out to last the entire album.  Although this is not my style of scrapping anymore, I am none the less happy with the outcome.  But....no more themed kits like this for me!
